…FOOD!! One of the things that people would quickly learn about us, the Cosmopolitans, is that we live to eat. Coffee hours and international dinners only, are not enough to satisfy our fondness for food. When we go out (socializing), we eat. When we go shopping, we eat some more, or buy food. When we have nothing better to do, we sit in front of the TV and eat. Do you know what the most tortuous moment is, living in the Cosmopolitan house? It is when someone cooks something that smells so good; the aroma creeps into every corner of the house, into your room, where you simply cannot escape, let alone resist, a trip to the kitchen to see what is cooking (and while you’re there, snip some of the food for yourself!). A common daily conversation:
5 minutes later…
3 minutes later…
2 minutes later…
Well, you get the idea! |
